East African Girls' Leadership Summit (EAGLS)

The Creative Action Institute enlisted me to redesign their EAGLS program, a five-day summit that gathers girls from across East Africa to learn essential life skills and climate justice advocacy through art.

Audience: 75 program staff and leadership
Format: A one day program which brought staff together to practice teambuilding, strategic planning, and creative problem solving.
Key Achievements: Received a 96% satisfaction rating on facilitation: "100% engaging and personable. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. :)"
ECDC Annual Conference Training Day
Organization: Ethiopian Community Development Council

Role: Training Manager
Audience: 150 - 200 Affiliate program staff and directors
Format: Coordinated multiple program tracks in close collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training sessions for network staff during the annual conference. This involved overseeing the scheduling, content development, and ensuring seamless execution of each track, while working closely with SMEs to align the training with organizational goals and staff development needs.
Key Achievements: Achieved 93% satisfaction in feedback survey.
Asia Leadership Conference
Organization: Center for Asia Leadership
Date: June 2019
Role: Training Manager
Audience: 175 Working professionals from across South East Asia
Format: Led and managed a team of five teaching fellows in the development and delivery of courses focused on key leadership topics, including Adaptive Leadership, Negotiation, Communications, and Design Thinking. I oversaw the instructional design of content, providing guidance and support to the fellows, and ensuring the alignment of course content with learning objectives.
Key Achievements: Improved program evaluations between 15-25% for facilitators across all program metrics.
Leadership Communication Course
Organization: Center for Asia Leadership
Date: June - Aug. 2018
Role: Instructional Designer & Facilitator
Audience: Multiple cohorts of working professionals, ministry officials, & youth leaders
Format: Designed and facilitated an in-depth training course on leadership communication, drawing upon Professor Marshall Ganz’s renowned Public Narrative framework. The course was carefully structured to equip participants with the tools and strategies necessary for effective storytelling in leadership roles.
Key Achievements: Hired as a permanent staff member to manage teaching fellows while overseeing the development of the organization's Learning Management System (LMS).
