About Me

Early in my career, I developed a strong appreciation for the value of service through education. Helping others grow, develop, and succeed is a calling for me. By crafting clear, engaging, and tailored learning experiences, I get to contribute to the personal and professional growth of my colleagues and clients in a meaningful way. Whether it's guiding someone through a new skill or providing them with the tools to excel, the satisfaction of making a positive difference in someone's journey fuels my love for instructional design and training.

My Story

I began my career in 2006 as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kazakhstan, teaching ESL and discovering my passion for empowering students and supporting under-resourced communities.

After completing my service, I taught ESL internationally in Taiwan and Ukraine, later returning to Ukraine as a teacher trainer with Peace Corps Response. There, I developed curricula and organized educational events, building a strong connection with my work and colleagues.

In 2014, the Maidan Revolution forced my evacuation, but I remained hopeful. I returned to the U.S. and worked at Southern States University, developing their TOEFL curriculum, while awaiting the opportunity to return to Ukraine.

When Peace Corps resumed its work there, I chose to return to Ukraine over pursuing graduate school. After completing my service, I attended Harvard's Graduate School of Education, earning a Master of Education in International Education Policy.

I then worked as a teaching fellow and later as Director of Teaching Fellows and Online Learning at the Center for Asia Leadership, where I led the development of an online learning platform offering over thirty courses.

I’ve continued serving through training and instructional design, including redesigning the East African Girls Leadership Summit post-COVID and overseeing training for the Ethiopian Community Development Council to help staff serve refugees. My dedication lies in helping others reach their full potential, especially those who lack the opportunity to do so.
